It’s almost Thanksgiving. I’m traveling to Chicago to spend the holiday with my Detroit family. My plan is to bartend, but just in case I gotta cook something, I tested these Cheesy Garlic Scallop Potatoes this weekend and now I’m wondering why people ever made these out the box. Boxed scalloped potatoes were a favorite childhood dish, so I never knew how easy they were to make. I used a blend of aged and smoked cheddar. And I recommend reducing the salt by half. If you like yours a bit more soupy, add 1/4 cup more heavy cream (or add milk to heavy cream). But otherwise, these are amazing. Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 I don’t end up cooking!!! Happy thanksgiving y’all!
