Cookie Butter Baked Donuts

Hey y’all! So I’ve been traveling and eating up everything since my birthday. I was on the road to getting it together when I found out it was National Doughnut Day…so I whipped up this original recipe for Cookie Butter Donuts:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup Cookie Butter
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted, unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 egg, room temperature

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp melted Cookie Butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2-3 tbsp unsweetened almond milk

Preheat oven to 350 and spray 6-doughnut pan with nonstick cooking spray. Mix dry and wet ingredients separately. Add dry ingredients to wet until just combined (don’t over mix). Pipe batter from clipped sand which bag. Babe for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on wire rack.

While doughnuts cook, combine glaze ingredients. Dip doughnut tops in glaze. Enjoy!!!
