My friends know I’m obsessed with frozen yogurt or “healthy ice cream” as I call it. I love Menchies but there’s not one anywhere close to my downtown digs. So I decided to try making my own Cake Batter Frozen Yogurt. I learned two things: 1) I really need a high quality blender and food processor. Maybe someone will gift me one *hint* and 2) everything is not better with Greek yogurt. I love Greek yogurt. I use it in everything from smoothies to salad dressing. But the tart flavor of the Greek yogurt clashed with the cream cheese on this one. While the recipe calls for any yogurt, when I make again, I’ll use plain nonfat yogurt. It won’t stop me from eating this batch though. It’s still pretty yummy.
