Travel Smart

I’m in San Francisco this week for a work conference and some fun. Actually, more fun than work. When I travel, I usually skip the workout. But I’m walking way more than usual and logging more than 10k steps each day. I also find balance by packing my own snacks for the day. Let’s face it, conference food (especially breakfast) is cost effective. It’s usually not health or waist conscious. 

This trip I’ve packed my homemade granola, protein oatmeal, raw almonds, and my favorite Nature Box snacks. They all fit in a large freezer bag, packed tight in my checked luggage. 

A little effort and planning ahead can help you find balance while traveling and stick to those resolutions. Travel smart!
